11/16/2008-Library Sneak Peak! Gallatin's New Library had a preview party today and we went to see the new library and find the brick we purchased in Scotlyn's honor before she was born! We found the brick and she loved the library (the stuffed animals a little more than the books!) There were beautiful flowers everywhere including the "grand opening" arrangement seen here that was all fresh! we look forward to enjoying the new Gallatin Library for years to come! http://www.gallatinlibrary.org/

A Ruby Visit - Our friends, the Paynes, have a basset hound, Ruby, who used to come visit Jon Phillip and Amy on a regular basis. Since Scotlyn arrived, Ruby's visits have all but ceased and we've only seen Ruby about 4 times since March. She showed up this morning and Scotlyn LOVES her! Here you can see Scotlyn greeting Ruby while mommy went to get a treat for the puppy.

Election 2008! My first election! We waited in line for early voting for about 1.5 hours. She was a trooper and entertained those other voters around us

11/1/2008 - Granna's Birthday! Today was Marsha's 60th Birthday. We surprised her by meeting her and her friends for a dinner at the club. It was a fun night with friends and family. Dollie and Jim, Stites Ray and Nancy and Peggy and John were all in on the surprise and there to celebrate with us. Scotlyn, of course, loved the party!
