My friend, Miranda, was "in town!" from Jamaica so we met in Nashville! She had her 3rd little one (first son), Rylan, with her and we enjoyed an afternoon of shopping and dining at Green Hills Mall! Rylan is exactly one month older than Soctlyn. Her other two children, Mia (6) and Thandie(3) stayed in Huntingdon, TN with their grandparents and her husband, James, stayed at home in Jamaica "holding down the fort" but we are looking forward to his visit with the entire family in December!

Once again.... fun with Travis and Kendall ! We headed out on the town to the Kenny Chesney Concert. This was Kendall's first big "outing" since her double Masectomy (every female reading this... go get your mammogram!) and as you can see, she had a ball!

Well... our pump went out in our little pond outback so I had some dirty replacement work to do and then got into a deep cleaning of the pond (actually removed/repositioned most of the rocks and mopped the thing!).... and Jon Phillip came home in the middle of it and took my picture. I must say though... contrary to my display of "style", the pond looks fabulous and Gretta and Stallone (our 2 year old fantailed goldfish) LOVE their "new" pond!

We went to Carthage on Saturday for Case's 1st Birthday! Case is the son of our good friend Michael "Skinny" and Selicia Collins. Scotlyn enjoyed riding with him in his new wagon!

Jon had some work in Kentucky so we went up to the lake and stayed with Mom and Dad on the boat while he was working. We went to dinner via pontoon boat. Scotlyn loves being outside so much! My grandparents, Joe Harry and Dolores joined us as well for dinner.

Friday May 20th, 2006. Jon and I were headed to a party for a golf tournament pairings party. Marsha came to watch Miss Scotlyn so she snapped our picture as we were headed out the door.

We went to the pool all day today! So much fun... and so much easier with Nana and Auntie J on hand! Of course, Scotlyn was in the shade the entire day and even took a 3 hour nap in her bouncy seat.

I just thought she looked so cute and cuddly today straight from the bath all wrapped up so we snapped a few pictures (after we put on a hair bow, of course!)

Scotlyn rolled over for the 1st time today! I just so happened to be videotaping her (since she was holding her head up so good while lying on her stomach) when all of a sudden she just flipped onto her back! What are the chances????

We got a new float today! Here we are trying it out in the living room... we'll have to repost again when we actually try it out and do more than set at the edge of the pool.

Monday, May 26th - Memorial Day 2008. Jon Phillip and Amy played in a Scramble Golf Tournament in Carthage with Phil and Wayne Kemp and Scotlyn stayed with "Ma" (Pam Kemp). Her she is in her patriotic outfit!

Saturday, May 24th - KY lake - we took a pontoon boat ride to see the lighted boat parade

Friday, May 23rd - Mom's 60th Birthday Suprise Party - Ky Dam Marina. Dad planned a suprise birthday party for mom's 60th. Here she is with Alex and Luke, her two Grandsons.

May 21st, 2008 - Scotlyn is just crazy about Adler. Adler is a black toy poodle and belongs to Margaret, Kyle's girlfriend. Scotlyn Laughed out loud for the 1st time tonight when we got home!

Saturday, May 10th, 2008 - Steeplechase 2008

Once again... good time had by all at Steeplechase. We always are able to attend with the hospitality of our dear friends, Kendall and Travis Womble (shown here in the pic). Jon Phillip and I had a ball and this year was special since it was Kendalls "big outting" before her double masectomy next friday! It was my first outing since Scotlyn was born. Her Granna - Marsha - kept her while we went and she sent us picture text messages about every 30 minutes to keep us updated!
