Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 - Jon Phillip, Scotlyn and I are headed to West Palm Beach - Singer Island for a short little get-a-way in the sun! The weather is going to be perfect. A nice man on the plane going down there, took our family picture. Scotlyn was sooooo good on the plane (don't know why we're suprised!)

Monday, April 28th. I went for my "after baby is born" Dr's appointment today and got a great report! My Dr. (Dr. Cain-Swope) took time to visit with Scotlyn

as well as our Nurse, Temeka, who was too busy to stop and take a picture.

4/26/08 - Stacey's Wedding - My cousin, Stacey, got married today on her parents farm in Soddy Daisy, TN. It was so beautiful and everything was perfect. Scotlyn's first wedding! she loved it and was soooo good (as usual) My parents were there (seen here holding her) and the other picture is of my cousins, Andrea and Carrie's, girl (neices of the bride too). Lauren is holding her and miss Abby is seated beside her. They were both just crazy about Miss Scotlyn.

Saturday 4/26/08 - Scotlyn's Tree We planted a new tree today in our yard in honor of our new daughter - Scotlyn Elizabeth Kemp. We added a Red Dogwood which has always been a personal favorite of mine so I'm so excited to have one at our home. We put it just outside the window so we can see it and I plan on making a larger bed around it and adding a bench/sitting area in the future.

My dear friends, Terra and Heather and their two oldest children brought us dinner and came to visit us last night (GIRLS ONLY!) we had so much fun!!! Oh, and I now have a new crowd pleasing recipe to take to gatherings... Heather made this FAB-U-LOUS apple dip that I will be recreating in the near future! Here are our girls in the picture - Rylee and Julia are both 3 (soon to be 4) and Scotlyn is 6 weeks!
